Hey guys I got some question.. I'll be getting my kit soon (intercooled)and I want to run e85(deliciuos tunning flex fuel kit) but just wanna know what u guys opinion on. E85 is? Is it safe? It's my dd n I'm thinking I'll be running e85 all the time should I run pump91once in a while? Do I run a risk catching the engine on fire? (I know Visconti had a problem with his flex fuel kit n idk what was the cause that's y I ask..Does it really rust the internal parts in the fuel lines/engine?...I know deliciuos tuning is one of/or the best at tuning this kit (and many others) so I'm not worried bout his tune just wondering what the cons of e85 are
Thanks for the help

Didn't even try to reach it, the hose that innovate used that connected to the intake pipe was long enough to reach the input on the passenger side Radium.

also, the only suggestion i would make before installing this kit is to apply a little lube to the hose barb fittings before trying to fit the hoses to them. It will make your life much easier.

I'm talking about the one that routes from the rear of the engine up to the blower. That seems to be causing the most oil blow by for me.

EDIT - I think the PCV line.

No, it was easy reaching in, plenty of room to work in.

+1 I run E85 100% of the time due to the fact there are 4 gas stations within 5-10min of where I live. I also feel a lot safer running on the corn

@Powersfrs I run e85 about 10-15% of the time just because it's about 20 miles from me. So I get it when I can. I'd run it more if it was closer. I still like to cycle a tank or two of regular 93 pump through just in case. e85 hasn't been around long enough to know of all the effects. It can be linked to corroding lines over time. It's extremely knock resistant (comparable to 105/106 octane). There's not a lot of evidence to it's long-term effects but I suspect with 10% of gas now being ethanol, it's already in the system enough to cause any effects.

Bottom line for me is I'm a little conservative with using it but it's super simple. Just pull up, fill up, switch maps, and you're good to go. It's crazy easy to live with.

Oh that one, not hard at all, you pull it hose off the middle fitting, insert the coupler, attach the supplied hose to the other end of the coupler and run it to the can, then you run the can to the the now vacant middle port.

Yeah, my bad, my terms are all off. So the radium supplied hose just inserts to the factory hose? I guess my question is can you remove the OEM hose so you don't have hoses disconnecting.

you might be able to, i didn't want to try. the connections using the coupler seemed plenty secure.

Pulling up and filling the vehicle up to drive it normally is okay. To get the full ethanol content of E85 it needs a few tanks to be ran through when switching from 91/93 to E85. I wouldn't just fill up with E85 after having pump in the car and than go all out WOT. This has been tested using a ethanol content reader on various vehicles before on many platforms. No bashing towards you I just wanna clear that up for the OP asking questions. I don't wanna see another car blow up on this forum for a while.
