Definitely the most thorough answer.

Although, per dollar, I think the best is a panel filter, Open Flash tune, and possibly their header. And that stuff is easy to remove if there is a warranty issue prior to it running out.

You are NOT VOIDING WARRANTY.

You may be DENIED warranty coverage, but your warranty is VALID for entire duration of 3 years and/or 36000 miles.

Understand the warranty terms first before you modify the car, please.

This is a GREAT book to get started. It's about 10 years old now so some of the info is a little dated (read: spinner rims) but it got me on the right path and could do the same for any of you. Interesting. My car feels fast as it is in stock form. However, in order for that kind of experience, I have to keep the engine above 5k RPM. On the plus side, you get to keep your warranty (as long as you are not banging the rev limiter). On the down side, forget about your MPG.

1) gather your keys, parents and parents checkbook
2) take all 3 to your closest domestic car dealership
3) trade for a domestic rwd, even the v6 models will meet your goals while maintaining warranty status
