I have the stage 2 LED's from Diode Dynamics. I too wanted to be able to see the reflection off the signs. That being said I have tried to notice the lights off the signs or even the road immediately around the car and I have never been able to. Idk if the stage 3 would make a difference or not but I'm still happy with them and have gotten over the fact that I can't see their reflections off anything.

I have the stage 3 in my side markers. I say they're probably about as bright as the halogen they replaced. Which is pretty decent I suppose since most LEDs don't put out light like filament bulbs do.

I agree! I too have the stage 3 for the front sidemarkers. I just didn't want to spend $90 on the stage 3 turn signals front or back! lol

there are replacement LED for the twins that are brighter than the stock bulbs

Got some goodies today thanks to @FT-86 SpeedFactory. Installed the mirrors almost immediately after taking the picture, waiting till Saturday to install the mudflaps.

I don't want an HID kit since that requires retrofitting projectors and I like driving with fogs on. I don't want to blind on coming traffic and such.

LED's usable light is not that bright but I'm pretty sure someone will chime in arguing that they are just as good as halogens. I also had bad experiences with LED fog lights, I've had a few from reputable companies died on me in the past. I even had a set that melted! They just left a pretty bad taste in my mouth since then so I've been avoiding them.

I'm currently looking at the 2011 Outback Foglights, they're glass housings and they use H11 bulbs. I just need to find a harness conversion kit to convert from PSX24W to H11's. These are also great for those who wants to upgrade to HID for fogs since the metal/glass housing should be able to take the temperature.




EDIT: Diode Dynamics, I just checked your website and you have a conversion kit for sale. I was looking at it and it made me a bit curious. It lists that I can add HID's as an option... now do those comes with the projectors or just the bulb kit itself? We aren't offering any projectors at the moment, but our customers have great results with our HID conversion kits (35 watt ballasts)

I'm sorry to hear that you've had bad experiences in the past with LEDs / HIDs

So I got to test out SNOW mode and my weathertech floor mats this morning with snow!!! Thankfully I made it home without too much sliding and wheel spin from the sumer tires. This was not fun and I have no idea how people who live in the northern US drive around in snow without winter/snow tires! I was relieved to make it home!
