OK I am going to be completely honest. Personally I have had negative experience with cheap ebay products. Fitment issues, quality standards, longevity, etc. I would stick to a reputable company or just don't waste your money. What are you looking for exactly? from your ride?

I am primarily concerned what he wants from his set up such as: increase in sound, performance, appearance, etc.

You should buy it and post a thorough review. I'm hesitant to trust it, but it's practically disposable at that price... I'd expect some fitment issues...
I've also purchased really inexpensive things that far surpassed my expectations. Unfortunately too many people blindly subscribe to the "you get what you pay for" mentality and won't bat an eye at something inexpensive if there's a more expensive version, assuming the more expensive version ls always superior in every way. In many cases this IS true, but not always. Sometimes you find a gem. |

Looks like an imitation N1... I think the biggest potential compromises will be fitment and weather-resistance. Other than that, an exhaust is just a series of pipes...

So let me get this right, you're contemplating spending $317 on something you have no idea what the quality is like or what it sounds like?
Let's say it drones to high heaven and sounds like bees trapped in an aluminum can, you then take it to a muffler shop, buy a resonator and have it welded into place, you've now spent over $400 for it. Now you've fixed the sound but still the quality is questionable. This is also taking into account you installed it yourself to begin with. So for maybe another $100-$200 you go to our members classifieds sub forum, find you a used exhaust where now you can find sound clips and owner reviews. You may be able to score a real deal if you find a local seller too. Seems more reasonable than a crap shoot where you'll essentially be the test dummy.

All these cheap exhaust are tiny. I think 2.36" or something like that? Not the best idea.
I don't like paying for a name and agree a pipe is a pipe, but at least go 2.5". If not you'll just end up dumping it later when you want to go FI or try to make power NA. |

Rolled tips...
![]() I have read that some cheap knockoffs don't even have mufflers. They just have the larger coffee cans to look the part.
