I'm lucky - I live only about 20km from work.
Took the DVP - it really lived up to the "parking lot" sobriquet.
BUT - it was not that bad - I got up to about 70kph once the traffic opened up (stayed in the beaten tracks).

I had the nannies disabled - as long as you are gentle with your inputs, it is fine.
Definitely recommend leaving a comfy pair of driving shoes in the car though.

Was only about 10-15 min late.

About to drive home, highway has reduced traffic but more a snow covered now. Wish me luck! Hopefully I won't be the first victim of this storm.

I tried to get into my office today, after about 2 hours and not making it 1/3rd of the way I gave up and drove home. It wasn't an easy drive, but definitely not scary (minus the Ram 4x4 that spun out RIGHT behind me).

Went out to grab lunch, had no issues plowing through the snow, but it sure wasn't a fast drive. At one point I was basically just up shifting and letting the car idle itself forward until I hit 4th.

My car looks like it's riding on an air suspension with this ground clearance.

Makes you think twice about even running lowering springs.

You guys know how to put on a proper winter. We mostly just get cold, not much snow.

Honestly I've lived in southern Ontario for 18 years and this is the most snow I've ever seen here. Cold, about average, but snow has been unbelievable.

(I grew up in northern Ontario where my 6ft high backyard fence disappeared every winter, so while this is quite a bad winter, it's nothing unmanageable.)

You only missed those crazy snowfalls by a few years, it was way worse back in the early 90's in the GTA.

We got our fair share today.

Didn't even think about going to work today. Spring can't come to soon!

I feel your pain right below the border.

Should've worked at home today. They've been plowing all day and the snow is still higher than my car. I think I'm stuck at work. Meanwhile, that snow mountain in the back is getting higher while the size of our parking lot is getting smaller...

Yup as I thought I am the first victim.

Hit a parked truck while trying to climb a hill.

Any suggestions for a shop? =\

EDIT: First picture shows the amount of snow i was dealing with before i hit the hill climb.
