That looks good to me. What are you seeing in AFR under normal constant load?

Looks good. I will point out that your ethanol content is probably a bit low judging by the negative fuel trims and perfectly fine AFR. Did yo you mix it with some gasoline (i.e. have a few gallons of gasoline in there before filling up). Just curious.

Hey Shiv, any word on the updated 1.54b map? If you send me a .bin (for my car, yours, or just some other CAL ID), I should be able to send you something nice. I have it starting sweet >30° and pretty well from 30°+ cold and hot (okay, I didn't have to touch the hot start tables, but the cranking IPW tables being optimized made part warmer than ambient but still fricken cold starts much better).

Fantastic. I posted up all the v1.55 in .bin format so you can view and modify the cranking enrichments. Go ahead and implement your changes and see how it works. Then post up your maps so others (including myself) can try the same changes in their cars

Yeah unfortunately I think that was the case. I tried to drive it until empty but the gauge is terrible. I thought it was empty but when I went to fill up I only was able to put 10 gal before it was full. Should I be worried about the fuel trims? Glad to hear that the AFRs look good. Thanks!

No the fuel trims are went negative to compensate for the low E%. That is what they are supposed to do. Nothing to worry about. Thats probably the lowest E% you want to go though.

I switched to E85 on Saturday and took it easy for the day. Then on Sunday, I started feeling that extra oomph! Then...at exactly 40 miles from fill up, I got a CEL. I pulled over and read P0351. I reset shortly after and have over 100 miles on this tank now without the CEL coming back up.

When the code was thrown, I had cruise control on and had just started going up a pretty decent incline, then suddenly felt a loss of power as CC was disabled. I have since done several WOT pulls and am not sure if the code was a fluke or what. I've read some posts that others have had this and needed to get their #1 coilpack replaced.

Otherwise, loving the E85! I crunched some numbers and found that I can stand to lose 4mpg without decreasing my $/mile due to E85 being so much cheaper. Win-win!

Misfire on Cylinder 1. What were your AFR's when you were on E85? I've seen that code before with a rich condition on E85. You should be able to lean out the tune to address it.

Unless you have a faulty coil pack or plug, of course. Oh, and if you have some popping noises, then you might want to have your DI seals checked.

Yeah I read about the popping but don't recall anything like that. I don't have a log of when the CEL came on, but I did log the next few miles. I'll have to take a look at that.

You will lose more than 4MPG, FYI. I run the numbers all the time...e85 costs me more to run than 91. But it's worth it.

I'll be spending most of next week at Vortech Engineering (Oxnard CA) working on the OFT calibration with their calibration engineer. Once done, I drive it back to Norcal, install our OFH, make our own custom calibration from scratch and voila, we offer it to the public
