Were just having them hold the package at the distro so we can pick it up.

You saw the returned IC end tank piping right?

Yes, looks like they dropped it off a building.

OK, I'm breathing a little easier now. It's been well over 2 months without my car, on what was supposed to be an "under 2 weeks" job.

The new revised downpipe is installed, as are the radiator, spal fans, and shroud.

The new parts still didn't offer enough clearance, so the radiator was moved forward, which finally offered adequate clearance.

Here's some pics showing the extra clearance (with double wrapped DP) and one of the front bumper mod I did. I still have to paint the wire flat black, but that, with the new crash bar will allow MUCH more air into the front.

I can't go back through all these pages but on the last couple I see a few of you have had the problem of popping a hose off under the intake manifold?

I have noticed mine was off the other day and managed to put it back on using long nose pliers but havnt got around to putting some clamps on.
How have you guys done it? And has any1 taken any pics of the hose etc as I am out of town and I have to try explain to my dyno tuner which hose needs to be clamped and what's it entail (removing the ac compressor or intake manifold etc) thanks guys

I think there's only one hose that's under there, it connects to the purge solenoid. I took my intake off to get at mine but it was hot so I didn't want to touch the ac compressor.

Man! Taking the intake off seems like a TOTAL pain, I'd do just about anything to avoid that.

It's actually very easy. U don't have to take it right off, I just took the 6 bolts off and lifted it up enough to get at the hose

I removed my intake manifold to make sure I got clamps on all the hoses and to clean up the coolant routing to the turbo by eliminating the throttle body cooling hoses. There is a picture floating around somewhere in some thread of the bottom of the intake manifold showing what needs to be clamped.

I didn't find it to be a pain. I removed it and reinstalled it in a couple hours after work one night. It goes a lot quicker once you have installed the injectors so you know how to disconnect the fuel lines. I left the injectors and fuel rails installed when I pulled the manifold.

Crash bar arrived!

This, along with the holes I cut in the bumper will allow a LOT more air into the front.

If anything, it'll get air over the AC evaporator so my AC will work better, because the intercooler pretty much blocks off the entire grill area completely.
