Time to put on the front plate . Should I pay the fee or request a waiver hearing?

Going to mail a check in tomorrow. But it was a GREAT day to wash the car. I got wash, wax, and the outside portion of the glass done. Going to put license plate on and then drive to get gas

I had to get the several pounds of salt stuck on the daily off so I just foamed and pressured washed. Anything is better than keeping it on, it will kill the paint

Waste of time IMO considering the roads were still screwed. With today's rain I would consider washing the car, if I washed cars ever.

Im not sure how much salt is on your car but I was driving actually during the day when it was properly snowing when everyone was home so when I mean pounds of salt I do mean exactly that, doesnt matter how the roads are as long as the vast majority is off the paint the roads will bring up some back on but its still helping it by a lot

wont someone think of the clear coat

I waited almost an hour in line Saturday night to wash my car. Then by next day hooning the doors and sides were a mess again.

Car is opticoated and you still need to worry about it

Opticoat is still a coating that will eventually be suspected to wear and tear like any other coating (not film).

Personally, I'm most concerned about salt on the underbody. You can fix the paint. Corrosion of the steel bits is a bit more challenging to deal with. Rain won't wash it off and salt from the road will accumulate rather rapidly.
