Everyone is trying to blame everyone from the Governor to the weather forecasters for the huge backups and traffic issues from the "Snowmeggedon" this week, but my conscience will no longer let me live with myself unless I let the truth come out...

You see, I was on my way to work Tuesday morning, sitting at a stoplight bored, looked down at the console and thought to myself, "Hmm I wonder what this button does" as I reached down and pushed the "Snow" button....

Really, I promise NEVER, EVER to do it again.....

Same and man this spring is going to be one hell of an interesting time when these cars start coming.

And I hated when my cat used to bite into wires and fuck up my shit too. Usually all it took wass a little bop on their nose to tell them its not acceptable, but if they keep it up I would just banish my cat from the area. Then she'd cry and be good after she realized to behave her self.

just saw about 15 helicopters traveling towards nyc... chinooks, regular choppers etc

saw them through the office window between some trees. pretty crazy

Superbowl Sunday is around the corner so I would imagine he would be in the area or at least his family.

i think it was obama rolling DEEP in that chopper caravan.
it was too far away to make out any kind of markings/emblems but just based on how badass it looked it was definitely someone important

edit: co-worker's sister works for the gov, said it was most likely a dry-run for emergency drills but who knows

Who knew going the speed limit would warrant such rude behavior?

Both when I was taking my sister to school and picking her up, idiots were everywhere. @_@
People were riding my ass, and were freaking out because I did actual stops at stop signs, and going the speed limit, and not running the red light. I didn't run the red light and apparently the person behind me wanted to, so when I stopped, he got out of his car and yelled at me.

Just now, I go to the speed limit and do full stops and apparently that warrants also being screamed at.
Then all the tailgators. I mean, damn, at least invite me to dinner if you're gonna get that close. And people who text and drive...
I mean come on. In class, I was infront of people who were bragging about not getting a DUI, even though she crashed her mom's SUV into a tree while drunk.

ARGH.
Should not have seen the first post on this thread... Now I want Arby's.

Whoohoo got into a pursuit last night while working DUI patrol. He was very DUI and a crap ton of other things.. He ended up wrecking.. Running on foot.. Falling... Getting attacked by a large cop lol tased till he peed.. Pepper sprayed.. And even then it took a bit to get the cuffs on him.
Fun stuff! He had a loaded gun too... Everyone is pretty sure he was planning to shoot me.. I have one in the chamber... He didn't.. And mines bigger! Hah

Depends on the locality. Around here it's: pass academy, written test, physical test, one-on-one interview, and board interview. You must pass all steps. My county also requires a certain number of college credits, but not a degree of any kind.
