I love the fact that @wparsons is shredding this guy.

I want to see the OP ride a bike in a manner which follows his analysis.

Edit: I also love the fact that the OP pretends to love the fact that everyone hates him. True sign of a winner right there. Oh and just for clarification, it is not the case that everyone hates you because they think you're smart, even though your logic likely tells you different.

but for a better explanation

http://www.exploratorium.edu/cycling/brakes3.html
Not only that, but in general, on a bicycle people are making steering adjustments continuously to correct for imbalance, it's the absence of a correction, for example to the right, which initiates the lean, and then subsequently you turn into the corner, but not enough to stabilize. So your wheel is actually pointed into the corner (less and less the higher the speed)

On a motorcycle, the speeds and stability of the bike make it more apparent, and actually requires a degree of counter pressure (but not countersteer) to maintain the turn smoothly.

It's true that suberman understands so little of what he is saying, that it's just getting awkward. It's definitely a case of "To know that you do not know is the best. To pretend to know when you do not know is a disease"

I know some stuff about friction and tires (my job requires it) but I don't know that much about suspensions. I know that Suberman's interpretation of tire friction is ridiculous and wrong.

The question is, will he ever realize how little he understands?

Wait so according to the OP a bicycle is faster around a corner if the power is being applied to the front wheel to understeer? Wouldn't that be either a tricycle or riding backwards then?

I ride a Cannondale hardtail with a lefty fork that would sooooo blow his mind.

I think I understand how the drift guys do it so well now

By kicking your door open, you transfer weight to the right axle, then they counter balance by waving up and throwing their left over burger wrappers out the right window.

And then of course, you have these guys

On a mountain bike you most definitely end up steering into a turn as well, maybe not at the moment of initiation, but in a sweeping turn, or tight technical turns you're definitely steering into the turn.

It's more like a Scandinavian flick to initiate than how you would describe sustained cornering.

I think he's the only one that is confused. To be fair, it might just be dimentia, we should be nicer to him.
