We could do one with a turndown fairly easily. Just weld a 90 degree elbow on to the end of a track pipe is the quick and dirty version.

I bought one just like this (Nameless Track Pipe w/ 5" Muffler) from @overlookedx

I was planning to throw it on this weekend and bring it to an exhaust shop to get a custom 2.5" midpipe built for it. Maybe I'll drive around with the OEM midpipe and commute with it for a week instead. I'll come back and give my impressions when I have a better ear for it/if there's any highway drone, etc.

Got a sound clip laying around?

This must have came out just recently, or not been in production until recently. Been waiting for something like this to replace my non-muffled track pipe. @Ryan@Nameless any 3" versions of this?

$199 for the 4" tip with 4" muffler and $209 for the 4" tip with 5" muffler.

Just saw this muffled version on the Nameless site...thanks for the heads-up on the forum everyone. This, plus the exhaust hole delete from SpeedFactory and I have my exhaust.

Thank you Nameless for this...exactly what I was waiting for!

I've had the stock exhaust, Works AB (resonated muffler delete, dual tip), and Borla catback on my car. I've sat in my friend's N1 w/o silencers as well. My thoughts will be based in comparison to those setups (all stock aside from the axleback or catback noted in each case). Been driving with the Nameless track pipe w/ 5" muffler + OEM everythign else for more than a week now.

Overall, I like the this Nameless a lot. It pretty much fell about in the middle of the pack for all the exhausts I've tried. It's not quiet but it's not obnoxiously loud either. Good amount of growl. Fit, finish, etc. all very good quality.

Volume - a few nothces quieter than the Works AB. Significantly quieter than the N1 w/o silencers. A notch louder than the Borla catback.

For reference, I sat in the drivers seat of the N1, revv'ed it to 5k RPM, and I felt like it was WAY overbearing. Too loud for me. I consider the Borla catback as probably the perfect volume for a DD. The Nameless is nice if you want some more sound and feel the Borla is too quiet. I don't think the Nameless is too loud for DD.

Pitch - Every single one of the setups above except the completely stock setup is is deeper than the Nameless. I miss the tone of the Borla. The Nameless isn't high pitched by any means, it's plenty deep especially compared to stock, but the Borla, N1, and Works AB are all deeper in tone to various degrees. I think a 2.5" resonated midpipe hooked up to the Nameless would deepen up the pitch to where I like it.

Drone - I'm gonna say little to no drone for the Nameless. The first 2 days of driving, I was deliberating trying to listen to drone at various RPMs with the music off. I felt like I MAYBE picked up a TINY bit of resonance in the cabin at 2400 RPM. After that, I just drove the car, I'm always playing music, and I notice zero drone. So zero drone for me, if you're super sensitive then maybe you'll hear something I don't. Most people probably won't hear anything.

Character - It's got plenty of aggressive growl. Not really rumble-y but it's definitely growly. The character of the Nameless exhaust note is pretty aggressive, more so than both the Borla and stock setups. IMO the Works AB had the best rumble/growl out of all the exhausts I've heard actually.

Final thoughts, I think this is a great option for someone looking to shed weight without the sound being annoying/overbearing like a muffler delete. However, I'm still undecided if I'm gonna stick with this or go back to my Borla. I like the deeper sound of the Borla, but the Nameless has better growl. The Borla exhaust note is too smooth. The Borla is pretty damn light for a dual tip anyway (28 lbs, only 2 lbs over the single exit V2 exhaust).

Gonna drive around with it bit more, maybe go to a custom shop and see how much a 2.5" resonated mid pipe would cost. The only thing is I'm afraid it's going to be too loud with a 2.5" midpipe.

Agreed, thanks for the write up...All but confirms my decision to pick one up here soon. I dont plan on upgrading the other parts of my exhaust for awhile anyways, so this should work nicely. Thanks again for the expansive review of your results.
