Cleaning foam air filters

So I have a Perrin foam drop in filter which has been great since day one. I had a look at it yesterday and its dirty as fuck. What is the best way and or products to clean and re-oil it?

I think Perrin recommend Unifilters products.
http://www.unifilter.com/cleaning-oiling/

Any dirtbike/atv shop will have same/similar products.

Any foam air filter oil and cleaning products (specifically for foam filters) will work. You can find these products at any local motocross/atv shop since foam filters are common on these platforms.

I have the same filter, so i washed it with dish washing liquid in a bucket of water, then, after it dried, applied foam filter oil - this way it works to save on cleaning spray

Uni filter is great, plus it's sold with cleaner and oil, so it'll come with everything you need.

Here in Aus i haven't been able to get a kit. I have tracked down some oil but not the cleaner. The Unifilter website says that mineral turps is ideal for cleaning their filters. Is it ok to use on yours as well?

As long as Unifilter says it's OK, then you'll be good to use that.
