Top karting

Is good to go for Saturday at noon. Would recommend getting there a little early for sign in and helmet fitting if necessary. They do have a reservation at 1 pm but we should be done by then. See you all Saturday.

PS other thread has been updated.

@normancw - we are coming up with a 12-step program.
We'll find you a sponsor to get you help - no wait a sponsor will just get you more parts for less!!!
Just remember, I had my D2 c-o's, Cusco rear lower controls and all the braces on my FR-S within 150km on the clock!! I'm just jealous that you are doing brakes and way better c-o's
My setup is mostly for Show vs Go - some lapping in my future but that's about it

You guys are all making me look good at home

Thanks guys for buying all this stuff, when my wife complains about all the parts I am buying for the car I just bring up the Ottawa forum and say You think I'm bad look at these guys, now that's bad! Special thanks to Norm, Ken, Chad, Pat. The turbo and supercharger purchase were especially good for my cause.

[QUOTE=normancw;1487519]Picked these up in Ogdensburg today. These are last things I buy for a while... I swear

Those are some serious brakes. I just convinced myself recently that the brz doesn't need any bbk, a good brake pad and brake fluid should do the job. But now I am jealous.

Any thoughts, big brake kit or just go with some aggressive pads and better fluid?
I will be getting bilstein b14 coilovers soon and looking to upgrade the brakes as well.

Pads and fluid will be all you need to start the 2 guys doing the most track so far in Ottawa have pads only that being me and andre. And Colin and Pete who also autocross I don't think have any brakes done so far. So unless you plan and getting real hard core the pads and fluid should do you fine.

my bad

I thought these new parts were for the go karts on Saturday

As of right now I think the arms race has

1 Chad Suprcharged, tuned and a bunch of other stuff.
2 Pat Turbocharged unless he had to buy the second turbo
T3 Ken and Norm too many goodies to name.
4. Mike ( God knows what else he is doing right now besides painting and repainting the emblems.)
5 Kenny. some cool stuff well done on the paint. me like

PS. Norm is winning if we count the BMW he bought his wife.

Fun last night on GT6.
We ran the stock FRS at Silverstone, felt soooo slow on that huge track. Norm came on just after we started.

Had about 7-8 guys on, but no one else from FT86.

Btw, new Seasonals again this morning. Had the Vette and Merc VGT on Monday, now another one with the GT86 at Trial Mountain!

Looking forward to Sat. Will bring helmet cam.
