Subaru BRZ > Subaru BRZ General Forum > WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR BRZ TODAY?

Now where could be the equivalent FR-S thread be? How about :

Scion FR-S / Toyota 86 > Scion FR-S / Toyota 86 GT86 General Forum > WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?

Crazy huh? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11036

I was able to score Subaru JDM clear side markers (not helix side markers, but the true blue JDM ones) for $55. Local parts store was having a clearance and said "any reasonable offer." I said "$55 for the side markers sound reasonable?" And they came back with "sure."

Now to order some LED sidemarker bulbs...

Anyway, what's the deal with "legal" colors? Should I just go on and get the amber LED bulbs, or get the white LEDs to match the headlights?
Up front you can't run red or blue as they are emergency colors

I suggest sticking to white or amber for the front turn signals

We're talking side markers, not turn signals

Ha ha, same. Except I didn't make it home (Vinings area)--too many hills and bridges. I actually felt pretty good on the icy roads--I tried out the Snow button, and traction control kicked in twice. But when other cars started sliding, and being abandoned, I decided to get off the road, and sleep at my Mom's nearby townhouse.

Incidentally, I bought my BRZ two weeks ago, and other than one other WRB at a Starbucks about two blocks from the dealership, I hadn't run across another BRZ until yesterday, when I saw a black one and another WRB one.

a list of things I was taught as a child that belong in a winter trunk:
Hat
Gloves
change of cloths
kitty litter/sand
extra socks
sleeping bag/blanket
plastic bags for waterproofing hands/feet (bonus for Wonder Bread bags!)
flares (all seasons)
candle/matches/empty soda can (for drinking water)
snacks
ice scrapper
jumper cables (all seasons)
Yeah, I didn't have much of those things. Just gloves, ear-muffs, and a decent jacket. As poorly prepared as our local government and school officials were, I think most of us drivers weren't prepared, either. I heard many stories of people being stuck, with no water, not enough gas, and improper footwear for any significant walking.

I added more LED's. Added LED's to the new smoke colored side marker lights to match the front end LED's already installed. Put in LED door lights, and LED back up lights.

From Japanparts.come got the STI starter button and the STI perforated leather shift knob.

Bought the Grillemasters black mesh wire girlle and got and STI grille emblem to replace the stock emblem from the manufacturer.

Next up is an armrest for the center console, as I have decided that it is a worthwhile expense now that I have wired my Escort GPS radar detector form the plug behind the glove box through the A pillar and the roof cover to the base of the Rear view mirror, so that I no longer have to use the center console plug for it.

That along with my previous ugrades from JPM Coachworks and Japanparts.com, I feel like I am amost done with my upgrades. Though I'm sure a few more will grab my attention in the future.

How do you like that head unit so far? It looks pretty nice compared to others that I've seen.
