well done gents!
Good post, but what about with stock CBE? From what I've seen, it's pretty quiet with any aftermarket header. At least one catless aftermarket header has hit 190 whp with just a tune and stock CBE. I think that's the way to go if you really want quiet power.

Just to add: I like the shape of the torque curve for the FT86SF catted UEL header. Very curious to see what it can do with a proper tune.

Interesting, I'll have to look into this. Definitely don't want to deal with poor exhaust sound. Thanks.

It sounds very cheap and tinny, imo.

I've also heard other set-ups with the stock catback that were very raspy.

I scanned the thread but didn't find this... any plans to make an EL catted header in the future?

I hope that the package with the UEL Catted Header in it won't be to expensive from Iowa/USA to Germany?

If we do it will be a few months down the line.

Was all decided on the RevWorks UEL and now this jumps in and complicates my decision!

The catted UEL is a very intriguing proposition indeed because I want to keep noise and rasp to a minimum because of my 80 mile a day driving and that was the thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on a header.

Same feeling here I was set on JDL then these are right in front of me...my exhaust is already pretty loud and it would be nice to keep it a little quieter while still eliminating the torque dip

I wonder if this is the quietest aftermarket header option, which would be quite impressive with the numbers this system puts out.

pretty sure any catted header will produce a similar sound dampening with the very small selection its hard to say which is the quietest
