I'll add my appreciation for Extreme86 organizing today's run.

The weather cooperated and the few slowdowns were relatively brief.

I had the pleasure of running 337 a second time on the way home where I encountered several cyclists who seemed to think that they DO own the road. None were as daring as the Darwin Award winner we all saw who rode downhill in the oncoming traffic lane.

Thanks Extreme for another great run!

Whats that phrase "when it rains, it pours." Soldier issues now so doing that and packing tomorrow. The joys of the job. Thanks for being willing to do it tomorrow, I definitely might have taken u up on that offer.

Is there any shops you all would reccomend for suspension installs and corner balancing/alignment?

Yep. Vipers caught my attention for sure. Even saw an oncoming C7 yesterday. Tucker lucked out passing when he did!!!

Excellent driving - I had a blast and it wouldn't have been as much fun without all of you in the group to accompany. Thanks to everyone for making it all worthwhile to me by attending!!! Tucker, thanks for being up there in the front for us as lead car. I appreciate it, sir!

I don't have the number handy as I'm writing from work, but look into Scorpion Auto Designs. Jeremy is the owner and is on here from time to time, IIRC his s/n is "S.A.D.FRS", or something like that.

I usually work on my own cars, but I didn't have the time to do my own install on the coilovers. He did a fantastic job, better than I could have done, and his bro in law can do proper alignments. It's my "goto" shop in SA.

Weekly...monitor the SATX 86 Owners Club, TXIC - San Antonio or SATX 86 Enthusiasts facebook sites for random weekly meetups.

The TXIC Subaru peeps meet routinely on Thursday evenings and have dinner together at various restaurants across the north side of town. FRS and BRZ owners are welcomed to attend.

SASCA and Spokes autocross monthly events at Retama and sometimes at San Antonio Raceway are opportunities to gather in support of 86 owners that track their cars. Admission to these events are free.

Our Austin 86 friends do a cruise in to their monthly Cars and Coffee now relocated to The Oasis on Lake Travis held each month on the Second Sunday from 10am to 1pm. Not sure I can make the next one but, it would be fun for a group of us SATX86ers to do a Sunday morning road trip sometime and check it out.
