i must be the only one that can't stand the smell of a new car

i was so happy to find out it didn't stink as much because i had katzkin installed by the dealer

even more happier that the leather didn't reek like the one in the golf i bought previously......holy crap it was so bad it was choking me

I have 450 miles on it. Don't hate anything. I DISLIKE the loud ticking that I assume is DI related. And I wish I had a sunroof. other than that its an awesome car.

Two small things that bother me to no end is the small square area right before the cup holders on the console (I know its for heated seats) but for those of us who do not have that they should of done something with it (I know the area is kept there so you can add the option too) but they should of made a cover or something for it. The second is that the reverse lights the red triangle in the middle does not light up. I just hate that. (unless it is supposed to and the dealer missed it? )

I hate the fact that my FRS is sitting in the garage for winter and I can't drive it

Really the only thing I hate (not dislike) is the center console cup holders. The moduclar design is neat but, not very secure when a large drink is in it. Get cut off, slam the breaks, and the whole center cup unit will tip resulting in the drink firing towards the front. Already cleaned up 2 cherry limeades off the passenger floor. Thank god for weather-techs.

That is one of the main reasons I really want a OEM center console cover. Soon as I get it I'm placing a couple self tapping screws in that bastard to hold it put.

I don't think a person in the world can make the argument that the FRS interior, at least in the 2013 models, doesn't leave a lot to be desired.

I enjoy the car, but the interior in this car is severely lacking/cheap.

I hear 3M sells an air freshener that smells like new car.

My complaint: Lack of storage space for misc stuff. Most cars, well at least the ones I've driven, have door pockets that run almost the entire length of the door. Ours can only hold a water bottle upright (wtf?). My glovebox is packed because I have nowhere else for the stuff.

First world problem though!

Having to choose priorities over modding the BRZ. Going through the forums doesn't help lol.

Anyone else have a clicking noise between each wipe on the windshield wipers? ON the lowest setting.

Yes, the relay that controls the intermittent wipers is cheap and uninsulated, this isn't unusual for cars that are on the lower end of the price range. Wouldn't worry about it.

The only fix would be to tear out the dash and add insulation, you'd probably be adding more rattles and noises because interior pieces never seem to fit the same way twice.
