I like the way it looks too. It's not quite as... beefy.. as the pic of those recaro seats, but it looks like it would support you. Looks nice.

I was going to replace the seats with Recaro Profi..

But now something concerns me, The shoulder huggers on the buckets might not fit 2 seats side by side in the car
I know it doesn't fit in the Lotus elise/exige

Look at the angle of the seat rest and how it puts you in a "crunch" type of position like a race bucket. I used to have Sparco Torinos and even though they were adjustable and form fitting, over long distances my legs would start to fall asleep.

these are used a lot in european cars:

they are the recaro CS sportsters

In:
Audi R8
Vauxhall Corsa VXR
Opel Corsa OPC
Renault Clio Renaultsport 197
Renault Megane Renaultsport 250
Ford Focus RS 2009

and a few others

be good if they were an option for this car

my personal oppinion...

but alot of the OEM recaros or buckets are a waste of my sticker price money.

It typically doesn't come with a hole between the legs for a 5/6 pt harness to run through. So what is the point of giving me a bucket seat if it doesn't have this feature? just give me a cheaper non branded bolstered cloth seat instead.

I think the concept seats are awesome, I just think when you start to hit bumps it will get really hard on the ol'keaster. I think it will need more padding or a really ingenious set-up underneath to cushion the bumps from getting to the rigid seat to the person seated.

Who knows what Toyota will use. I imagine they'll meet half way if they want to keep this car around the 20k price range.

that sign doesnt say "do not sit"

it actually says "do not show the high five"

hence he showed us the "two" instead, which isn't against the rules at all =]

instead of regular foam, they could use memory foam to make it more comfortable. that would be awesome. it doesnt look like itll hold you through the corners since there arent really any side bolsters
