No twisty roads, well other than freeway transitions. Also, there's no open liquids in there, so I was more paranoid than I needed to be actually on the way over, ice and cans don't slosh about very much. On the way back it was a little melted so I worried a bit, but it turned out to be no problem. Even heavy braking would be fine, since I had the plastic wedged up and held in place by the back seat brackets. I had to release the seats to get it out. In the end there were only a few drops in there and that was more about moist soda cans after I emptied out the ice/water and put the cans in my tote bag which tipped over in the trunk. A minute with a towel and Mindy was ready to go again. I did leave the trunk open overnight in case there was any accumulated moisture that needed to evaporate... And the car started just fine in the morning with the trunk light on all night. Says that the battery on the car is probably too big, heh.

And here's a pic of the trunk after I got home. 98% dry.

And you can see the two rubber plugs that are removable in case any water does end up in there. Hopefully not since there's electronics in the upper right of the picture.

haha reminds me of the frunk in the Mk3 MR2... the whole front compartment is a plastic tub with draining plugs at the bottom too. People have used the whole thing as a big cooler.

I can attest to the awesome drainage of the trunk. Just ask the 2 Kirkland Margarita bottles that met their wasteful fate. Only the carpet smelled like booze. Lol

LOL I can just imagine the police stop ...

Officer: Sir, I smell booze. Have you been drinking?
Finch: No, but my car has been...
Officer: Step out of the car please...
