The gtx28 is definitely the way to go. I made 304 on pump and 400 on e85 with a FBM 3" exhaust. Love the turbo. Build thread:

I don't think I have seen anyone opt for the cheaper T3 57 trim turbo since Full Blown started offering that option. I had the GT2871R, but if I were to get another BRZ and turbo kit I would probably step up to a GTX30.

I think you will be happy with the GT2871R. I had a 2.5" overpipe, 2.5" midpipe, and a 2.75" exhaust and this was my torque curve:

I like that. Definitely dropping the idea of the t3 and im pretty convinced 3 inch is big for pumpgas. Who's running the gtx2867r?

For the price difference the performance is more than worth it.

My FB radiator, spal fans with their new shroud, and revised downpipe came today!

Car's back apart, Robispec out, FB radiator in tomorrow.

Full Blown's customer service is the best!

I took the front bumper home for some "mouthpiece surgery" to gain extra airflow across the radiator and intercooler. This, in conjunction with the Drift Armor drift bar instead of the stock crash bar will give a LOT more airflow to the cooling systems.

Should be back to tuning in a day or so.

remember that more frontal area doesn't help unless the air has nowhere to go but where you want it to. opening up the bumper outside of what you're trying to get the air to could help more than hurt as it gives the air a new path of least resistance. ducting would help a ton

I do plan on doing ducting when I get the car back. I'm also cutting the fender garnishes and behind them to let some air out.

There's a lot more room to work with the crash bar removed and replaced with the Drift Armor bar http://www.enjukuracing.com/products...Scion-FRS.html

I'm also going to probably cut on the skid plate, and add an upside-down "Gurney Flap" under the car to help with pulling air out of the engine bay.

If I still have issues I'll get a vented hood too!

SHEEEEIIT! I still need to do it all to my car first! LOL I HOPE we don't have any more issues, the car's been at the shop for 2 months now!

I'll post pics once it's all together.

The Drift Bar they said would take a week. You know how that usually goes though.

We're going to swap all these new parts in and continue with tuning, and hopefully the drift bar will show up in time to install while the car's still at the shop.
