Yeah, There was always way too many steps to each turn for me. That and the money was why I never really got into it.

Yeah, all I remember is you put a card in and then you take it back out. Then you do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around... Lol

I only played the gathering. And I think I started collecting some ice something ones but we stopped. Decided to spend my money on something more fun.... Like gas for the car....

I've played magic off and on since 1994 when revised edition was released.

Still have all my cards but stopped playing a year or so ago when the power creep and new card abilities got too ridiculous for my taste. I still very much prefer the older less powerful cards, I think it makes for a more enjoyable (and longer) game.

I played MTG back in the mid-90's. Between my roommate and I we had over 10,000 cards. When I moved from Texas to Florida I gave them all to my little brother and haven't played since.

Love Betrayal at the House on the Hill. Waiting for next printing as current copies of it are going for astronomical prices ($300+).

Well, it seems like there is a want for some gaming so let's set up a date. Weekends work for most people?

Yeah. I definitely think a card/board game meet needs to happen this summer. Maybe for an eastbay weekly meet and host in like Fremont at a pizza place or something?

Used to play D&D, Axis & Allies, Risk... now I have a 4 year old, so it's more like Scrabble Junior and Chutes and Ladders.
