Honestly, after frequenting Nola for the nightlife. i prefer biloxi over new orleans. Now i do have to state that Bourbon is definitely an experience for a couple nights. However, the french quarter during the day is a great experience as well and a much needed thing to experience if you're visiting nola for the first time. Parking is a big issue for anyone with a fairly good drop on their car. i can only park in a few places within a mile walk of bourbon and even then i scrape a decent amount at a couple of those places. Not to mention that the price for parking is absurd.

I'd prefer biloxi for the meet and greet, casino nightlife, and photoshoots. As long as its not withholding too much from the out of state people. Visiting nola on monday is always an option for lunch and then bourbon at night. PLUS nola motorsports has kart racing(they're pretty quick) for $15 per session on mondays as well compared to the $25 regular price. If im not mistaken the autox track is open as well, there just wont be a big event going on, so the track would be less crowded(im not positive on this, so don't take my word just yet).

EDIT: pic for reference on my ride height, although this does look a bit lower than it actually sits due to the grass. I cannot fit the tip of my shoe under the bumper at its 2 lowest points and it is a snug fit everywhere else. Naturally, almost any parking garage or a curbed entrance is unsettling territory for me.

As the rep for us travelers.
We are down for whatever. Love the KART idea. We HAVE to see bourbon st. FML for being low but whatever. The bonfire on beach also sounds epic. But whatever we do it will be a blast anyway

The yanks will definitely get to see NOLA. For sure. So no one should feel inclined to vote for NOLA just for the sake of them getting to see it. They'll be in town at least 3 days, I think.

That being said, I just looked at the votes, and it's overwhelmingly in favor of Biloxi, so far.

Why not incorporate Nola into the day cruise?? Catch it in the day and back to Biloxi for the nightly festivities??

French quarter and karts were mentioned... So if no auto-X, it's really not that far of a drive..

You guys don't want to come to NOLA with lowered cars. Take one wrong turn and your car might not make it home. Even after raising my car, it is still hard to drive downtown and when I was lower it was nearly impossible. And like bradley said parking is incredibly hard and expensive unless you find a spot on the street.

I can confirm all of this. I was planning on taking the yanks to NOLA in the Corolla, actually. Unless we actually went to the track, then I was planning on driving to the rough vicinity of downtown, parking in a good SAFE place, then van taxiing our way in. Taxi would be cheap divided by that many people.
