What about adding a bigger radiator for the intercooler?
I'm not a fan of the Mishimoto oil cooler. I'd recommend the Perrin or Jackson Racing if you like oil-air, and Cusco if you like oil-water.

send me an e-mail, and we'll chat. mike (at) counterspacegarage (dot) com.

Not enough tire seems to be a bigger problem than running too much tire. Mike has tested all this stuff extensively, so he can advise you on how to set up and acquisition of parts.
Knowing me the way I do the supercharger will be added as soon as possible, so I want to make my wheel/tire plans based around it.

One thing to note about the 17x9 RPF1's is you have to watch out for brake clearance. For example, the 17x9 +45 wheels do not fit over the Essex AP Sprint BBK, but the 17x8 +45's do. If your set on running 9's and want a BBK, you may want to consider a different set of wheels.

17x9 et35 RPF1s are the best bet to clear brakes. These can be found in 5x100 from many vendors on this forum. I'd recommend 245/40/17s if you're set on FI.

I spoke with Mike at "Counter Space Garage" and Jeremy at "FT-86". They were both very helpful and willing to give me as much time as needed to answer all my questions.
Many thanks to both.

I would avoid every body kit I've seen for the FRS if you're a function guy.

More to gain from a properly designed wing (Kognition) and front splitter.

Sorry to side track, but what temps were you measuring? My oil and water temps stay below 205F on the track. I was running non-intercooled before but installing mine this weekend. Were you measuring IATs after the blower? I have a hard time getting my oil temps warm enough with the cooler. Seems the BRZ really scoops in a good amount of air in. I'd be amazed if the blower soaked that much heat up but have never measured post-blower temps.
