Whiteout FR-S at McCarthy ranch, exchanged looks but it was too late to wave.

Also I was hungry....

The twins have gone from rare to common, at least in the bay area. I miss the 'old days'

Stock red FRS on 80 East in Fairfield at 5:45ish. Tried to acknowledge but I'm not sure if I can be seen in the dark with tinted windows.

I go for weeks and weeks without seeing anyone in my corner of the East Bay then suddenly...

Monday - In the Century Theaters parking lot in downtown Walnut Creek around 1pm : Survived the Great Parking Crisis of MLK Day 2014 with another Asphalt FRS.

Tuesday - Heading home around 7pm, same parking lot : Spotted a rare Hot Lava FRS parked only a couple of spots over from me.

Thursday - Found out @randel_07 and I have a mutual friend, solving the mystery of the Firestorm FRS that I've occasionally spotted in Pittsburg

Friday - Downtown Walnut Creek, Mt Diablo and S. Main : Satin White Pearl BRZ with a nicely rumbling aftermarket exhaust. Got to answer a few questions from the couple with me at the crosswalk about "that new Subaru"

Saturday - Hwy 242 through on to Hwy 4 around 8:30ish : kept pace through boring traffic with another Satin White Pearl BRZ on the run home. Best way to make an ordinary commute epic.

What kind of tint you got on your front side windows? Been contemplating tinting them on my BRZ but worried the CHiPpies will give me a hard time...

I'm from Sacramento also, best action would be to roll your windows down when you see em. I have 35s in the front but I don't know if the factory tint drops it a bit more or not. I cannot see myself without front tint, it's just that much better. Most of the time my 35 don't even look that dark, you can tell it's clearly tinted but at night is when it's noticeable.

I had Vivid in Vacaville do the job. He recommended a % that should give me no problems with the CHP. So the back 3 windows have limo dark at 5%. Then the front two are reasonable at 40% and then the front windshield has a very high end film he recommended that is 80% which is supposed to cut the UV and Heat the same as the 5% of the rear brand. The reason I didn't do the whole car in that high end stuff is because it is too expensive.

I am so happy the the job. The car stays so cool in the summer and I know the interior is protected.
