Got my FR-S in October. Even though my car is in storage until the snow passes, reading this forum helps with not being able to drive it. Looking forward to modding my car come spring. I've gotten a lot of good ideas from this forum so I am excited to start contributing!

New member here. Been looking at getting an FR-S for a while. After going back and forth with one dealership and having one car sold from underneath me at another I can finally say I'm a proud owner of an FR-S. Picked up a 2014 Ultramarine M/T Thursday (1/23/14).

Who the heck buys a light weight rear wheel drive sports coupe in the winter...........this guy.

After starting the process back in July of last year and initially in the BRZ camp I picked up #1956 of 2500 of the FR-S 10 series with a manual transmission. Always preferred the look of the FR-S to the BRZ and the factory 86 HID assembly with the auto leveler for the US DOT settings made it a done deal.

Not new to this type of car scene as I've been tinkering and toying with SAABs for a long time. I also have a 99 9-3 5 spd viggen clone pushing 20 psi with a whole list of goodies. Looking forward to the same once the warranty passes.

Who else is in Ohio?

I'm in Columbus (Westerville) pimpin' a Whiteout FR-S that I got on NYE, so I feel your pain.

Not enough snow-free days to get past engine break-in period, yet.

Hey guys and gals!

Been wanting and FR-S for a while now. When my '03 Cavalier Z24 suddenly bit the dust in Jan 2013, I wasn't in a place to afford an FR-S, so I ended up purchasing a 2013 Scion tC.

I really like the car because of its versatility (hatch back, I can sit behind myself and Im 6') but I never really loved the car.

Back in Dec I started doing my research about getting an FR-S. Spoke with a few dealerships that low balled me on my trade in, or kept increasing the price of a new FR-S almost every week.

Finally about 3 weeks ago I found a dealership that has a 2013 Argento FR-S (6M) with the new 2014 touch screen. Because its a 2013, the finance rate is much better, they dropped the price of the car by $1000, and are installing tints and a block heater (definitely needed in the winters up here) for free!

We are in the final stages of negotiation and working out the final details so I am hoping to have my new FR-S here in the next few weeks!

Anyway thats just a brief intro, I am looking forward to being a part of this community!

Take care,

Dan

WELCOME, NahumCC .......

How is that FR-S working for you as a snow plow ....

If you lower it and get a front lip, it will work better.

Ohio, yes, I was born and raised just south of Dayton. They tried to educate me in Columbus.

Enjoy your new machine!

Yup.....I got the Viggen for that until its sold to another enthusiast. It eats plenty of snow to keep the FMIC cold since it is lowered with KONI adjustable dampers and springs.

Todays snow in Ohio that I took the FR-S out in........like a kid in the candy store with a go kart! Love it!
