That law suit was from 1999. Like it says in the thread, NE is probably the best place in the country to buy Subarus. You can always go to at least 3 dealerships near you and play them against each other. I've never heard of anyone not being able to get the car optioned the way they want, and when I got my preorder today they took my options and put it in the system, and didn't mention anything about not being able to get it that way. I think it is just his dealer being shady.

No. Sales Manager said that his dealership will have discussion with SONE next week and he hopes to have more info then. Said he does not want to leave me hanging and would relay info as soon as he got it. What is the sheet saying your order has been submitted? Is it a reply from Subaru? Thanks for the tip about Patrick Subaru. Will have to check them out.

Comments: Put down $1000 deposit, told me that I would be getting it at or below MSRP and would be first in line. Called me back about 10 minutes after I put the deposit down and my credit card was charged and told me that he had called local dealerships and could no longer guarantee that I would be getting the car at or below MSRP as he had said when I paid over the phone. Told me I had first right of refusal if I'm not happy with the vehicle or price. I'll see how much he tries to tack on and report to the blacklist if necessary.

It looks like it was printed off from the system they make the orders on, it just says your name, address, email, options, and deposit amount.

Hmmm. Not sure I got that, not sure I didn't. I got a "motor vehicle purchase contract" with the hand written statement "customer has first right of refusal deposit refundable" and a full page receipt for $500 on the company stationary with my name, phone, amount, the word "deposit" and "cash receipt" even though I paid by credit card. Should also add that they took a photocopy of my license for some reason.

Bad ass man! Did you talk to Luke?

And I will second the statement on Patrick Subaru! I called somerset about a week ago and they were like "BRZ....WUUUTTT?!?" A friend of mine purchased a '12 STI from Patrick about 3 months ago and I heard good things, so I shot luke an e-mail on the 1st within two hours we had talked on the phone twice and my order was it. I received the same e-mail SpaceyWilly got.

I placed my order with Russel since he just sold my parents a forester. It was really easy and they seemed excited about it, unlike other dealers I went to who just seemed to be annoyed when I mentioned the BRZ, or just never got back to me. He got my parents a great deal, too, and gave them a lot more on their trade (an 06 HHR) than I would have

He said they are trying to talk to Subaru to get more so it seems like the SNE dealers might not have the set limits like the other dealers do.

I thought there were 3 of us with LR? Did somebody cancel? I still like the fact of being the most rare color!

I think I need to recalibrate the graphs, I'll look into it tommorow, and I think you are right they should be at least 3 but I'm not sure if it's someone with a problematic order that had to be cancel. I'll look into it thanks for bringing it to my attention.
