I didn't use plasti dip. I used duplicolor

Is duplicolor more of a permanent solution as compared to plastidip?

It looks good, I need to paint my lip.. What was the process? Sand, alcohol, primer, paint? Or did you skip primer?

Cool glad you said that because that's all I wanted to do haha. Actually I might sand it a bit since there are some weird imperfections on a corner of the lip. You got the matte black? Is there a light sheen to it? I want to get it close to the OEM STi one as possible and apparently that one is painted semi-gloss but most semi-gloss I see are too glossy.

HI,

I am still debating getting the PU one or the ABS one.
The price are the same.
Ex. ABS
http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-14-Subaru...bff03e&vxp=mtr

PU
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-SUBARU-...b7aef4&vxp=mtr

Any comment or suggestions related to how you make your decision?

Thanks a lot.

ABS will be less likely to recover from damage like the PU. Like if you pull up to far in a parking spot, the PU will just flex. The ABS would be more prone to cracking depending on how hard you come up on the curb.
Both will more than likely be destroyed with any significant impact to the bumper (my PU lip broke from hitting some dirt in a ditch).
FWIW I have the ABS version on my car now...

Anybody with additional photos of the skirts on any color other than WRB? I'm very curious to see it on white, red, or (if the stars align) Hot Lava.

Why you are not choosing the PU one this time?
Thanks again.

Would probably be a hassle to try and keep the lip clean but I'm only considering the skirts right now (matching my SWP)...
Would sand/prime/paint even work with this type of material?

I think ABS was available first and PU only recently popped up. I ordered a PU one a week ago and going to paint it today and install tomorrow.

HI,

Any people plan or know which suitable rubber to add on for additional
protection, if I bought the ABS one?

I saw the STI genuine from lip has this design as below.

Thanks.
