I can say that the 245's I have on my ride right now look much better.
I didn't forget anything or say anything about keeping the stock tires, I was talking about sizes. Those Conti DWS's will work better in narrower sizes like 215 than 245 in the rain and ice. Physics. The only time you want a wider tire is for the track or mud or a deep snow pack where you want a tractor, ice and rain is the opposite. Rally cars use bike width tires in bad weather. They prefer not to hydroplane and crash at high speeds.

So I went to post office today and asked if they'd weigh the TC105N 17x9 (35) offset wheel for me. Result is 16.45lb per wheel. Just some info for those curious.

Yeah mine might not have been the most accurate. Very light for a 17x9 wheel so I like my wheel choice either way!!

Snowy days......

Ok well got tires on steps yesterday so today had em mounted up. Took entire wheel with tire mounted and tpms, balance weights etc all on and the ALL UP WEIGHT was 39.84 LBS per corner. This is with Michelin Pilot Super Sports 245/40/17 tires.

Anyhow it is -30 today and cars in storage but out around the block a few times to settle in suspension as cars been on stands for over a month lol.

(sorry for shitty cell phones pics people, I do not even own a quality camera... sad I know) |

Pics with new wheels (sorry it is dirty and please pardon my not so great photography skills)....

AWESOME! I'm about to purchase these wheels! They are the only 17" wheels I would even think about putting on the car. Been looking at 18's until I saw these
