I also got the "fuzzy" rear window at night, but to me it was acceptable because as explained, theres an extra layer causing light refraction.
Got mine from Audio Heaven and it was very good as well...except for a tiny piece of eye lash or something that I can only see if I looked really closely. Didnt bother me too much so I never took it back |

Weird - my rear hatch tint doesn't make things fuzzy. I will post up a picture tonight.
Also, refraction doesn't make things fuzzy, it bends light - ALL light so while it might bend your view, it shouldn't make it fuzzy. Think of the illusion when you look through water in a glass cup at objects behind the cup.

Had mine done at FX Auto in Markham summer before last. Got the upgraded tint that blocks infrared (heat). Was in the $300 range (definitely not the cheapest), but I am happy with the job.

After reading a lot of reviews from ft86 and other forums I decided to book an appointment with Auto-Links. I was going to tint my windows earlier but some negative reviews held me back. Decided to go ahead since they have way more positive reviews than negatives plus some personal friends have had positives experiences with them as well.
Took in my car today for 30% pinnacles all around. I dealt with John who was friendly and helpful through out the whole process. Took about 2.5 hours to install the tints which wasn't an issue for me. I'd rather have someone take the time to do the job correctly than to have it rushed out the door. I went around the area to kill time and came back to sit for about an hour. Waiting area is comfortable with a big leather couch, tons of magazines and a tv to keep you busy. The shop itself was very clean which is always a positive. After he was done installing, he explained in detail how to care for the tints. Also, told me do a walk around of the car to see if I see any issues. Overall, pretty happy with the experience. I haven't seen any issues yet with the tint as I literally had it installed about 2 hours ago but so far so good. Will be going back to Auto-links in the future to get my roof vinyled and possibly clear bra. |

My full front windshield, side and rear Pinnacle ceramic tints, full bumper, full hood and full side fenders clear bra done at Auto-links. Couldn't be happier. When I'm done with performance upgrades, I will be bringing it back to them for audio upgrades.

They give the lifetime warranty and have plenty of options to choose from. Quick and percise job with no problems at all. Recommended as well!

It's also worth mentioning the auto links cuts their tints via machine. Not hand cut.
This allows for an accurate tint everytime. No guessing, no trial and error. The option to upgrade to the F1 Ceramic tint is a bonus Dyed tint doesnt actually block all that much heat. Ceramic on the other hand...
