Also note the brake size difference between the pics. That's where the main throw-off is. The top pic wheels came off a pic of an Evo, hence the massive brakes. Bottom pic wheels came off an FR-S so they're smaller.

I was going black rims for my asphalt when I first got my car. But I'm leaning more towards bronze now

If you're thinking bronze and don't have money for wheels right away you can take the route I took and paint the stock wheels bronze like so. If you want I can pm you or make a thread on the steps I took

I have the gun blue ones - they're more like gunmetal - they look really nice on asphalt. Sorry I don't have any pictures.
but in my opinion, black wheels just kinda turn me off - like they turn your entire wheel well into a black hole....

I used to be a fan of black wheels but after a while they begin to just look like steelies, especially while rolling. I think gun metal is about as dark as I would like to still show wheel detail.
