Just wish they came with tips that could be removed and replaced with different ones. I love the D-shaped tips on mine but wish I could at least switch the look every once in a while with some burnt blue titanium ones or something.

Just a heads up...

The TRD mid-pipe is considerably smaller than the stock one.

It's part of a formula.. Some sections are smaller to increase velocity which helps other areas of the system.. Looks like TRD is trying to preserve torque down low.. TRD makes some nice stuff.. But this system seems to be overpriced for what it is..

If you decide to switch it, would you sell it for a fair price?

Ask that dealer if they always F customers without a kiss first. That's outright rape period for those parts.

Aw man, I was really digging the semi-circle shape of these tips, but after seeing this pic with the rear diffuser I feel that the tips are way too small. I think 4.5" tips fit the bumper cutouts perfectly. Anyone know of any semi-circle tips that are 4.5"?

Even if you find tips that fit the cutouts, it won't really matter. The tips on the TRD exhaust aren't simply just held on by a bolt like they are on the stock exhaust. They're welded in place.

Yup! No reason for it to not be a direct fit anyway!

I have the TRD exhaust only because it came on my car along with the rear wing, to me it sounds nice at WOT and nice and quite on crushing speed. A lot quiter then my tanabie on my 01 ITR or my 3" COBB on my 04 sti I used to have. And the TRD looks nice to me.

I live in Australia and got this exhaust from http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/lexusofnorthmiami
Lisa was great to deal with and super helpful with everything.
Anyways, i installed this a couple days ago and i really don't understand what people mean by "it's a quiet alternative".
It sounds AWESOME. People turn around to have a second look to see where that sound is coming from.
I don't know about any HP gains and honestly, i didn't notice any difference. It looks great(perhaps not with that diffuser) and sounds wonderful. I'd recommend it to anyone.

P.S. my right muffler tip is also very slightly slented inwards. I could perhaps get it aligned perfectly symmetrical in an exhaust shop but it doesn't really bother me and i can spend that money for something like an intake...

My car came with the TuRD exhaust, and I absolutely hate it. It drones like hell, and 100% of the time will give me a screaming headache on the highway. 6th gear cruise is right in that +/- 3000 rpm range and it just drones to beat the band, and I have the sound tube plugged. Expecially when pulling a mountain pass or a hill etc. Two weekend trips I've taken to Portland since I got the car, and both times I could absolutely not wait to get the hell out of that thing by the time I got there. I ride a Harley, I'm not scared off by a loud exhaust, but droning is another matter. Very poorly designed exhaust IMO.
