Yes I am able to use both seats without any issues. And the driver seat is in the full down position.

The dnn990hd isnt all that great, I would pick the dnx890hd over it still. The main reason I went with the dnn990hd is waiting for a way to root the android system to install custom apps. I would love to have torque on it.

Excellent. I'm intending to put some Genesis Profile amps under the seats. They're about 38mm high.

At this point you need to offer something no one else is. Look into the cost for producing something like this.
Picture the car with the rear seat folded down. Now create a two piece box that when installed looks like that, but one side is a subwoofer box and the other is a set of shelves for amps. Processors fit nicely under seats. Possibly one side could be a storage bin with a lid and amps could go under the seats or in the spare tire well. I think I like that idea even better.

I'm about to pull trigger for this 990hd b/c it has loaded w/ new wifi feature and new tech but there are bunch of issues and bugs with kenwood's 1st generation design. I've compared kenwood 990hd vs alpine 927hd. Alpine has superior HD quality nav screen like real HD vs 990hd looks faded blurry screen side by side comparison. 927hd doesn't have wifi tech but it has one of the best nav/map screen I'd ever seen. I agree the non-wifi dnx890hd series.

About how much did all this cost, if you don't mind me asking? From the looks of it, at least $3k.

I'm going to see if my audio installer would be willing to do something similar in terms of this level of surface prep (such as the amp mounting and a-pillar fabrication, etc.), but I'll be going with a single JL 700/5 amp with dual 8" 4ohm subs wired in parallel.

I'd say 3K before the install.

Wonderful Job, I have L6 in my doors, an L3SE in the dash of my car. No tweeter.. Sounds incredible! LOVE Hybrid audio!

Come up with a nice looking tweeter pod so we can use hard domed tweeters without the painful side effects that come with bouncing them off the windshield.

Please, please, please make this happen. I just installed the pre-fabed/plug in play system that's kind of popular here. It's basically the only one available to frs/brz owners, and the results, to me , are UN-impressive. I should have saved th $$$ and went with SiS.
