I have no idea what number in line I'm at, but I placed my preorder at the same time as 86Design with Desi. She's been out of town, so I did not get to speak to her directly. I called around 4PM today and spoke with Dustin and received my VON.

Yeah I was referring to the GB, I think I read somewhere here that they were able to get 18 people into the GB before they were asked to cut it off because they were gonna sell at MSRP+markup.

Was this the 9digit number I got from Rich today? The # beginning with 2000xxxxx?

Yes, the VON= Vehicle Order Number. I believe once the order is fulfilled(and built), they should update with a VIN.

Apparently they took one more after me (though Rich said I would be the last to get it at sticker, so I'm glad that wasn't true for the very last one). Definitely cutting it too close for comfort though.

I'm pretty sure I was the last order that Rich put in. That's what he said to me as he put in my order while I was on the phone. He said he was on his way home when he got my call. Since he admitted that he might have forgotten my info at home he went ahead and put in my order.

BTW, for those of you who've got a charge on your CC's. What did it come out as? I got something for Frank's Foreign car service. Anyone get the same?

Yup, I got the exact same listing on my statement as well - 'FRANKS FOREIGN CAR LAKE FOREST CA'. And glad you managed to get in! I got hold of him when he was going in to work that day after I had left him a message the day before.
