I know it's a Supra and everyone goes crazy over them but at the end of the day it's just a Supra. We're not talking something like a Ferrari 250 here. If you haven't found yourself driving it as often as you think you should in weather-permitting conditions, sell it. You may regret it down the line, but live and learn. If you're hesitant on selling it, keep it for another year and keep a log of how often you drive it. Then go on that and see if it's worth keeping around.

Precisely. All these fools don't realize that the OP is in Canada and are thinking 'merican. In the US, yes, the Supra is exclusive and JDM boi racers still have their panties in a knot over it. While there are a handful of imported Supras here, they are generally NOT desirable because unless you live in the corrupted state of Florida, you won't be able to register the car for street use.

Truth. In the West, F&F has made a huge impact on inflating the status of the Supra. However, in its home country, the Supra was never regarded as an icon. Real icons and legacies in Japan are the various iterations of the Evo, WRX STi, RX7, NSX, Skyline GTR. Even the AE86 is more highly regarded than the JZA80 Supra. This is why Toyota decided NOT to directly link the new FT-1 concept to the Supra. See this article on the FT-1 concept.

"The perception in Japan was that the Supra was a good sports car," Hunter said. "In Japan, Supra is just another product in a long series of good products. They were unaware of its cult status here (USA). Turns out Toyota HQ didn't want Calty to be completely hamstrung by focusing its design on Supra-think. After several rounds of transoceanic meetings, it was decided to not attach the Supra name to the concept. "The FT-1 concept pays homage to Toyota's entire sports car heritage, including the Celica, Supra and, before that, the iconic 2000GT," Fukuichi said in an e-mail interview. "The FT-1 is meant to be an extension of this historic lineage, but not a replacement or reinvention."

Man, if you want to sell, sell it to me. I already own an FRS and would love a Mk.4. Plus, you're local. I'm amazed you could even insure it, being RHD.

Now, to the juice. I hate to break your ballz, but this thread reminds me of those Facebook selfies that females like to share. All you see is some pushed up breasts, yet the caption says, "Got a new belt today". C'mon dawg, to summarize your thread, you just really want to show us your Supra and get your cock stroked by the internet. Let's be real, do you REALLY not know what to do and are you REALLY seeking advice from the forum? We don't know you or your life. FWIW, I think that you should grow some ballz and think for yourself. Maybe grow a beard, too.

/thread

ps. contrary to what all these fools are telling you, your Supra will NOT increase in value as you Canadians have the luxury of being able to import JDM cars. Furthermore, NA --> turbo never holds value compare to original 6spd TT.
I like to look at facebook selfies and Supra selfies :/

Keep the supra

I recently just sold my '94 TT, but my situation was very different. It was my daily for work since work was literally 2 miles away. On the weekends I use the suv with my wife and 1 year old daughter. I ended up getting a new job that is now a 50 mile roundtrip so it just wasn't practical for me to have anymore. I thought about keeping her and just getting a beater for a daily but them I'd have to drive something completely boring and the supra would've sat in the garage forever.

It's a tough choice man, if you're just doing it to get more parts for the 86 then I say don't sell it, but then again once that ft-1 becomes a reality I see the supra value dropping drastically, so it's your call man

A gray market NA-T swap, on a RHD chassis (in a LHD country), is not going to rise in value like a low-mileage creampuff. It's just not going to happen. It is a driver and there is nothing wrong with that. So... if you are not driving the car anymore, sell it and feel good about passing the torch to another enthusiast.

Beauty Supra!

If its not tying up funds, just keep it. Not worth selling after you have put that much work into it.
