nope, i plan on sticking with 93, because that's what's more easily accessable around here. and my girl answered the question about how loud it is by laughing, and saying "too loud! can't talk to each other loud" but it's only like that when i get on it. if they finally load up the dyno vid from the SE86 dyno day, i'll share it.

I really don't think it's that bad, but I'm used to it. Its better if you can hear it in person.
edit: you can hear it a little better in my youtube vids. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb4j192DvWo"]FRS Supercharged Innovate dyno - YouTube[/ame]

I'm running a catted-header, over-pipe, and resonated front pipe (no cat) hooked up to the stock cat-back. It sounds OEM. You hear a nice crackle at cold start and just a tad deeper. I don't like drawing attention so it works great for me. I'm sure I could gain another 10hp if I opened it up. I plan to get a borla cat-back down the road.

goose, is the engine speed on your dyno accurate? The run was from 3k to 7.9k rpm?

i think so. I didn't watch the tach while they were dynoing, i was watching the big black cloud that came from my exhaust.

It all depends on the exhaust pieces you choose for loudness.
I have JDL UEL header, stock overpipe, tsudo catted front pipe, ARK GRiP and its not that bad. She purrrss real nice when you get in it, but its quiet cruising around. I can hold a conversation no problem, actually very easy. |
