Singe Vs. Dual exit exhausts
Other than on the weight savings side, are there any benefits on having a single exit exhaust over a dual exit one?

Having heard both the tomei 60r and 80r i would definetely say sound. But i think the single exit looks very rally inspired and looks awesome on an evo or an sti but not so much on a sporty coupe like the frs/brz

I personally think the single exit fits this car's "personality" better. Maybe it's just because I'm used to it. I was going for the Tomei 60S or 60R. But since I'm unsure what future mods I'll be doing once my warranty is up, I went with the Nameless single exit delete. I like the look of it. Also, you can always get the cover for the other side.

I was sold by the sound after hearing this:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16JOf6TRbDA"]Twin-Turbo Subaru Legacy: How JDM Can You Go? -- /TUNED - YouTube[/ame] In the end, I went with a single exit mainly because of the sound, but the weight savings is a big plus. Also, it cost me all of $80. |

I enjoy single exit exhausts on how they look, sound is always adjustable with the proper header. I was mainly wondering if there are performance level differences between the two tips vs the 1 tip exit.

Yeah, performance gains are better than the dual. Plus, it will be a lot louder.
