Looks nice.
Not a fan of verts, tho'. Now it really is a 4-seater Miata ![]() And agreed -- we don't need another shoe shaped car. A hatchback with same (or even sportier roofline) as the coupe would be awesome. |

Interesting. I figured that they'd have a convertible since they made the statement from the beginning that the frame was developed with a convertible roof in mind.
This will be a plus for Scion, adding their first convertible car to the lineup. I wish they would have done a targa roof or t-top instead though (perhaps something a little more high-tech than the 90s models though) - retractable or something. The convertible might be enough for some people to wait out for, but get ready for this to thing to be labeled as a girly ride... No offense to the ladies. |

We don't need a hatchback FR-S\86\BRZ! Toyota\Subaru don't do it!
A convertible? Yes. It will happen. But make it a 2 seater. The back seat is useless as it is and if you lose the back seat to the top, it will save some trunk space. |

Quoted for truth.
![]() In all seriousness though, my step-dad has a full shop where he fixes logging equipment and where he **formerly** built dirt track cars. Having access to someone with 20 years of fabrication experience and ASE certifications counts for a little something. |

Me too I remember that the BRZ was going to have a third door trunk but they cut it for "structural" reasons yet they make a convertible version?
Im good with cars if I say so myself but in this department im still a rookie. ![]() The way I see it if mitsubishi could do it with late 90's eclipse then try with the 86/BRZ/FRS. ![]() When they called it off a small piece of want went out the window.
