Yea but in some states you don't get taxed on the value of the trade. It does add up depending on what state you're in.

But yea. Equity does not equal discount haha.

For a limited BRZ WRB no options M/T

This is the price after taxes. Really happy with the deal I got back in July 2013.

Lol, well mr diarrhea of the mouth since you have zero clue what the fuck your talking about I will educate you. Taking my trade out of the equation the car by itself was $27700 including tax, title and tag transfer fee for a limited 6 spd that had a sticker of $29k and their "e-price" was $28k.

That $27700 is WITH a 60k mile gold plus warranty ($100 deductible), the car has option package 2C and dealer optioned weather tech mats. So mr ugh...full price huh?

Before I did anything else and excluding my trade I was in the car for less than their "e-price" by about 300 bucks and less than sticker by $1300 and that is without figuring the cost of the ext warranty which ballparks for $1700+ and another $110 something for the floor mats.

I added $2900 in cost having the car detailed, opticoated, then clear bra the front from headlights/fogs to roof/mirrors as well as the whole car tinted with a 2 year warranty on the bra and 5 year warranty on the tint. Led replacement lights added to the trunk, puddle lights and licence plate as well as the car being sent to an audio shop to be pre wired for a sub I had ordered. All before I picked it up.

Minus my trade in of around $21k of which I owed nothing on so yes I paid $9500ish for the above optioned car.

So mr ugh full price based on sticker would have been around $33700 something.

I'm in it for around $30600ish with the $2900 in add on's.

Far from full price but thanks for playing.

@Bad Habits

I wasn't trying to be a smartass, but your whole idea of getting your BRZ for ~$9500 is totally false. Whatever the agreed upon price with your salesman is what you got your car for. The thread isn't asking "How much did you write a check for when you bought your BRZ Limited"

Here's the math:
New car: $30,600
Trade: $21,000
Difference: $9,500 and change (which you wrote a check for)

This does not mean you got your car for $9,500 and change, you got it for $30,600. A better reply in this thread could have been "I got my Limited optioned with this and that, MSRP $33700 for only $30,600!" Which is a good deal.

Man, this thread is definitely making me feel like I overpaid for my BRZ premium, granted, I got it back in September 2012

No regrets though. If I had not gotten it then, no telling if I would have one today
