Dang, still? I re-did my gasket fix. Let it sit for over 24 hours before I torqued down the plate. So far, it's working. (Knock on wood.) Used a red high temp sealer this time that is more pliable. The grey permatex was too hard.

Meteorological forecast for weekend ... Cold.

Wet on Thursday-Friday (possible wintery mix in Hill Country) and it's suppose to dry up by Saturday (partly cloudy) and warm up to high 50's/low 60's but, likely freezing temps early AM when we begin.

As long as the moisture moves out from the Leakey region (which it should - according to today's weatherman prediction) we'll be OK.

I'm also looking at the long-range forecast since I've offered to lead the Austin group to the Apple Store early on Saturday morning.
Dry and cold is fine, but wet and greasy roads will keep me in the garage. I WILL update the Austin group as our departure time nears!

So, I hope the weather improves. If it is anything close to how the weather and road conditions are here in Austin, then I am going to be a no-show. I am on stock wheels/tires and I barely made it home, fishtailing all over the place

I am a no go now, due to weather closing post we now have to work tomorrow....Hope everyone has a great time and the weather is perfect. Someone take some videos so I can get my twisted sisters fix.
