Anyone already planning mods ? What, where and how much ?

I have a group buy in my dealership and they are all getting the same cars, same colors and same mods.

When I push my order through ( FR-S ) in black I plan on getting the TRD exhaust and a set of Lexus Magnesium ISF Mags If the bolt pattern is available ( doubtful but oh well ...).

What are the prices you guys are finding out there for potential mods ?

Wow... same car for everyone? I'm in your area, getting a brz or frs (if too expensive), but not taking black cause I was already sure it would be a common pick in Montreal.

I'm planning (within 30 days of getting this car) : Coilovers, wheels, tires, stainless steal brake lines + brake pads, (HID TSX/BMW retrofit if FR-S).
After next winter : STI calipers and maybe an exhaust if stock one is too heavy

Everything will be bought on internet or local performance shop.

Many will likely say the FR-S/BRZ needs more power and while more wouldn’t hurt, those folks (the same ones who have probably never driven on a track) are missing the point.

I see, that's quite the list, let me know if you need any TRD stuff, I'll make sure you get a hardcore price, I've got some pre-order catalogs for some of the stuff

unfortunately can't help you on the STi stuff

I have a local manufacturer here who will do a limited run for us ( between 499 and 599 depending on how many orders I get) as well as a friend who will do the Carbon Fiber taping for those who just want the ' hood sticker'

If you're interested let me know

I'm waiting for quotes from AVIOR for a few Carbon fiber parts, the technology is top notch and the carbon fiber is premium lite and used in aeronautics.

Rota SVNs in 18x10 +30

Judging by what I've been reading, I am going to have the craziest setup because no one thinks theyll fit

I almost bought real Volk RE30's but the size wasnt what I was looking for... Rotas had the size and obviously theyre a lot cheaper so win/win?....

EDIT: heres my blog, i have a post about the FR-S and the Rotas with a pic of the wheel

I have a Canon T1i, most of the shots on the blog are taken with my 50mm f1.8 lens... some of the earlier ones on the photography page were taken with the 18-55mm kit lens though...

and YES! I sold the drums a couple weeks ago finally.... for a LOT less than what I was hoping for, but i had a talk with the guy I always bought parts from at a music shop and he said that you can buy a new Pearl MCX for like $1,800... so thats what was killing the price of mine... pearl lowered the price by almost half from when i bought mine
