Spoiler

I have ordered a spoiler I am planning to install on my FRS off of eBay.
The part came in without any instructions on installing nor any equipment to install it. I was hoping to get some advice on this, maybe one of you guys out there have installed this before. The spoiler is just a plastic shell, no holes or viable spots to put bolts in.

Here is the link to the item on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130978723478...2649#vi-ilComp

My only idea so far was to use that two sided sticky stuff used for tags and emblems. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

There shouldn't be any bolts involved in the installation. Go buy some very durable 3m double sided tape and install!

Thanks!

I installed a spoiler on my Scion tC a few years ago, it required bolts to be screwed in from inside the trunk. I was assuming it would be the same here and so was surprised when the part arrived.

Thank you for the clarification. I think I already have that exact tape at home, perfect.

I believe since the majority of TC's had a spoiler from the factory that was bolted on, thats why you used those mounting point previously. As far as I know, none of the FRS/BRZ spoilers came opted on form the factory, hence why there are no holes.

It just came in last night, haven't tried the fit yet. It is not painted nor primered yet, if anything I should be able to lightly sand it if there are parts a little off.

Looking at the same spoiler, How is the fit? Would love to see some photos and hear about you installation experience with one of these eBay spoilers.
