Get Detailed | Porsche 911 | Paint Correction | Toronto

Hello Everyone,

I was contacted by this discerning owner to give his Pcars a wash, clay, light polish and paint sealant. I started with the 2013 Carrera 4S.

After the waterless wash and clay bar step I began polishing the paint.

This picture shows the paint condition before.

Here you can see the right side of the vehicle corrected.

After

Before:

After:

Sadly the front half of the vehicle had poorly applied clear film so all I could clean up was the slight swirling on the clear film and not the actual paint.

This is the results of my effort.

I then started on the 08 Turbo Cab.

Same issue, the owner is really trying to protect the vehicle by applying clear film to half the vehicle which trust me isn't cheap but the swirls and paint defects are still trapped under the clear film and it was applied before he received the car. I always suggest hiring a professional to make the paint as perfect as can be before clear film is applied.

i polished what I could which was still a good chunk of the vehicle.

After I went around the vehicle I applied this new Japanese windshield coating which acts like rain-x but lasts longer and makes the windshield less prone to scratches from ice scrapers, wipers etc.

I also gave the interiors a light spruce up and sprayed down some anti-microbial spray so fabrics wouldn't smell after some time in storage.

Sorry no outside shots but here are the results. Sorry about the blurry pictures.

Soft top was sealed with fabric sealant (4+ months durability)

All done.

This please. Also, mind sharing a few words with your thoughts on that windshield coating? What waterless wash did you use and how long did the two cars take, if you don't mind?

Hi, I am looking to get my car treated as well. Out of curiosity, how much did you charge for one car? They look fantastic!

Thanks!

I know different shops charge different amounts but I too am curious. I almost avoid washing my car because paint turns out like this regardless how careful you think you are

Hi,

Sorry about the late replies but for some reason I wasn't getting reply notifications. Just checked the brand and it says Odor Zyme on it. This is what I'll get next though. http://www.hdcarcare.com/HD-Odor-Eliminator.html

Hi,

That windshield coating is good, it actually doesn't last that long but it's very effective and is simple to apply. It's called Osren Coatz 04 if anyone is wondering, I had to get a friend to ship it to me from Malaysia because they won't ship it out and no other sources around here can get it. If you want a great windshield coating then check out http://www.carpro-us.com/flyby30-win...ting-50ml-kit/

Honestly it all depends on your market and scarce good detailers are in your area, if need help finding someone then PM me or just ask here I'll be sure to locate someone who has enough skills to satisfy you.

I did something called a All in One package so it's around $220~$240 in our area per car. It's not a true paint correction because you have to wax the car regularly otherwise the treatment fades. A true paint correction costs around $375 and lasts longer but the ultimate paint treatment is Opti-Coat Pro which will outlast the life of your car!

Friend, you need Opti-Coat Pro in your life. Yes it's hard to swallow the bill up front but if you divide it among how long you keep your car for example $750 for the Opti-Coat Pro treatment for 5 years it $12.50 per month to keep you car cleaner, for longer.
  • Resistant to Bird Dropping
  • Resistant to scratching, like what you see above
  • Resistant to Acid rain and acids
  • resistant to tree sap
  • Keeps your resale value high because the paint stays flawless with proper care resulting in more money for you!
