Holy hell today was a rough day. This site being down was directly responsible for the roughness.

Yup both driver and passenger had some cuts but otherwise seemed fine.

I froze...

And yelled at an old woman for driving around all the traffic until I stopped her asking wtf? She said "oh I can't go around and get to the exit?" I said NO!! Why do you think all these blue and red flashy lights are here! Why do you think everyone is sitting still on the interstate like you should be. Use common sense lady...

I'm grumpy when sick....

And I got the "damn girl... You can arrest me any time" tonight.... I swear if I had a reason to I would have....

Yup! Actually, after 2 hours the WD-40 worked its magic and the bolt popped right out, I didn't even need to buy that fancy schmancy Craftsman socket.

Okay, look, it was like 5 dollars for a 3/8" ratchet, 1/2" ratchet, and 30 something bits. The ratchets broke in about 1 minute of use, but 5 bucks for that many sockets is not bad!

I finally finished my suspension today, now the car is...pretty low, I'll take a picture soon. Next car I buy I'm investing in some better shock absorbers, despite the ride height drop and stiffer springs, the car now rides better because it doesn't jolt so hard when hitting bumps.

Finally got the coilovers installed on the Mini. Rear subframe should be done tomorrow, and hopefully we can build the front ball joints and install the front hub bearings. The brakes and then wheels will be on after that and the car will be rolling rather than dollying around!

After that we can move on to plumbing and then engine/trans. Then lastly, finish up the bodywork, and the mini is complete.

Sadly I'm only in town for three more days. We'll see where we get...

Is this a handling lowering, or an aero lowering?

Sorry to hear that!

Salt really does help, but I hate how messy it gets

Is that a cliche that all girl cops have to put up with, or just the hot ones?
