Coilovers then bring you into the pain in the ass mode of having not only to set ride heights (which most people dont do properly) but then have to deal with more expensive alignments because of 4 wheel camber correction (which car does not have from factory) Then ****ing around with finding an optimal stiffness setting (which most people don't get right)

A small <1.0" drop and low spring rates similar to stock are not going to blow shocks.
It's going to reduce stroke of the dampers causing a more bouncy/choppy ride.
Probably on par with what most cheap coil overs will feel like. Additionally cheap coilover dampers will likely need to be rebuilt in 1-2 years anyway. Thats the fine print of the cheap dampers most people glaze over.

Ever have to pull your dampers off the car to send them out to be re-built? (Can you even get them rebuilt?) I can bet you 99% of people who add budget coils don't or never will. But you get your cheap lowering and crap ride quality that worsens every year.
