A lot of people would've liked it if Subaru didn't troll everyone with that stunning concept.

Am I the only one that actually sees a lot of Version 5 GC8 in the front end. Similar shaped upper grille, stretched lower grille, Signal are down with the fogs (which still has that small area with a horizontal division), headlights are essentially just a streamlined version. I don't see evo. Especially from a side or rear shot.
![]() ![]() I know it's the wrx but the front is almost identical |

Considering the interior of the WRX was really good, this new STI must be awesome package. Will definitely beat the new Golf R in sales.

New wrx, wouldn't call it hideous but it something is off. I just don't like the windowlines(roofline) and that stumpy rear end. The older style wrx had a nice 'ass'

From what I felt today was a lot of unenthusiastic response. I guess mainly it's the same engine from last gen and not much of a step to the WRX. I think it needs to be drive first. The Launch Edition looks like something everyone wants although it's only 1000 units.

And the STi has lost what it once had
2013/4 or bust. Also, it no longer has UELH so you will be losing the iconic boxer sound. Sad sad times. Toyota called, they want their rally corolla back =(

also to all you saying it looks like an Evolution. the Imreza WRX nad Evolution have always looked similar ![]() the one exception being the 'Bugeye' and that was only the front end. ![]() they've always been 2 compact (use that term lightly nowadays) cars that had turbocharged 4-cylinders, and big ass rally wings (excluding the first two evos and the Wrx wagons). so why is the fact that is slightly resembles an evo relevant now?
