Nice concept but I expect this will be a bait and switch operation where we end up with a badge engineered Kia Veloster.

And at the end of the day..
Brah... you drive a mother bleeping KIA! Ask the Genesis owners how that goes down... "Gencows" is the nicest they get called. I personally don't care about who/what/where other people buy, but I still need to see more on the quality department before even considering a sportscar with a Kia badge.

I wish the Kia Soul came with Michelle Wie. That would've been nice - she was real nice when I "bumped" into her in Calgary for the WLPGA tour.

Maybe a Veloster turbo with a Genesis drivetrain? How about, maybe? We're all speculating so unless you work for Kia and RUN Kia, it's well worth the $0.02.

Hey look its the new kia genesis! They're sister companies so it stands to reason they'll be closely related

Right because it couldn't be a styling exercise. It's closer size wise to a veloster than a genesis. They even look somewhat similar. If you think they will dedicate a platform for this car like the ft86 you are out of your mind.

They may not have the intangible parts for sports cars or the prestige for a luxury car (the two Genesis models), but the Sonata and Elantra are certainly competitive and interesting to look at compared to many models out there (particularly competition to Toyota and Honda). I don't think I'll like it even after test driving it .. I tested a couple Kias and im sure they'll improve even more so but there will always be a small nagging Something ..
and mind you i'm korean and im all for korean cars, but I just feel like something will go wrong. or perhaps im just skeptical after they threw out the tiburon and "replaced" it with that bloated genesis coup >.> anyways im most scared about is the literal steering wheel, i dont like any kia so far
