Questions.

1) What's the difference between USDM and JDM specs for reverse/fog light unit?

2) I've seen from youtube that Valenti reverse/fog light can blink 3 times when I put on a brake. Is there a setting to make that happen (like relays/resistors or what not)?

Thanks in advance!

Sir,

Here are the Answers

1) Fog unit only comes w/ JDM spec. Since we don't have rear fog function, we'll need to wire the rear fog to parking light.

2) There is a separate wire coming out of reverse lamp. If you like the blink-3-times thing, just attach the wire to your brake wire at the back to tail lamps (Red color).

This way, whenever you step on brake, it will activate the blinking effect.

Sincerely,
Panson

Valenti LED Tail Lamps /Reverse Lamp~Lowest Price and full 1year warranty

Panson,

I have yet to install my fog but is there a way to wire it to have the red not on steadily? As in, can it be set up to be off normally and then flash 3x and stay on when the brake is applied and then turn back off when the brake is released?

Also, is that video I posted correct installation procedure?

If panson has better walk through he can post them, but the link below is pretty on target. It shows you the 5 different types on configuration and how to wire it up.

I did not review your video on how to install them, no youtube at work

http: //www. 86forums.com .au /index.php?/topic/1892-diy-modifying-the-valenti-to-for-parking-v-and-brake-flasher-f1-race-style/

It kept killing my link to another forum...so get rid of the spaces and it will take you there
cheers

Sir,

Do you mean the triangle area? This is doable. However, it requires custom wiring. Lamp needs to be open (I mean disassemble), and wires need to be spliced from the core.

Just sent you a pm for all the detail!

Sincerely,
Panson
