Thoughts on 2015 WRX vs 13/14 BRZ

I agree with all you say, except looks being subjective. Some cars are just gorgeous, while others are hideous. Pretty much everyone agrees the WRX is not gorgeous. But most people buy Subarus because they are functional, not beautiful; doesn't mean Subaru shouldn't try.

Also why isn't Subaru making a STI BRZ with the WRX FA20 turbo. These cars are not competitors. RWD coupe vs AWD sedan.

Because the FA20DIT motor has way lower compression than we'd be willing to put up with.

I'm betting a CR of 8.2:1 on the WRX motor, like the other WRX models.

where would they put the turbo? i feel like a lot of the placements in aftermarket systems wouldnt be ideal coming from a company that is giving you a warranty on those parts.

WRx,STI any 4 door to me is a family car I don't care how much HP it has etc.. That said the new WRX to me is fugly as fak anyhow...

When most people say a car is ugly guess what? It's ugly.

The CR is gonna be way higher than 8.2:1. Direct injection's cooling ability all but ensures this. Unless Subaru sucks at tuning...oh wait, they do :-(
