Excited for this! Out of curiosity, does anybody who is coming next Sunday have H&R Super Sport springs on their car? I am trying to decide between suspension options and I would love to see these in person and hear impressions of how they ride.

Most aftermarket springs on stock dampeners will give you the same ride.. A bit bouncy and a bit off. It's really for the looks of lowering. Get a proper aftermarket dampener and spring setup or go coilovers. Fix the suspension geometry after lowering.

I am mostly planning on coilovers but was just interested in hearing various opinions. I understand that matched with stock struts it wouldn't be ideal. What do you have on your car, and are you joining next weekend?

Springs work fine on stock struts. Been on them for about 15k miles now. It does give it a rougher ride, but coils will be a firmer ride no matter how perfectly dampened they are compared to OEM.

Performance wise, it may not shave off seconds off the track (you'll need tires to go with your suspension anyways) but I do fine on Auto-X, beating 36 of 48 twins on my set up at the FT-86 forum meet auto-x event last summer on shitty tires (V12's) and my so called shitty springs/stock strut setup. Driver mod will improve performance of the car hands down.

Every third Sunday 4-8pm is BRZ/FR-S group/club day: hang out and/or install ...

Kohei is right.
Besides, I'm a newb when it comes to cars. I hard park, I haven't professionally raced it, I had someone else build my car and I pump ethanol enriched gasoline. I apologize to all and to all a good night..

..or am I?

I should be able to make it!
My crew has our practice every Sunday till 4/5ish in Hillsboro then I could just swing by on my way home!

In the summer time I'll probably be going to RDM more often though.

If it is dry I am going to try and install my Perrin shift bushing and Whiteline transmission bushing at Stocky's house.

Don't forget. Tomorrow is third Sunday to meet up at a fellow member's house to hang out. This Sunday it's at my house. First post has my address, time, etc...

If anyone has parts to install, we can try to do it in the garage. If I've done it before I'll coach you along.

Nope no cable. I guess I'll be missing all the football fans then.
