The throttle deal is complex on the car for sure. Basically you never get 100% in my experience and after an ecu reset it has to relearn some crap. The longer the ecu has been learning the more linear and closer to 100% you get.

1.3 gallons of 91 in a tank of e85 = much better starting. Starts on the first try but stumbles a little. Next I will try 2 gallons.

Check the other thread, there's been some progress in cold start issues... At least for me.

Or just adjust the cranking pulse width tables

Just ordered my OFT Thursday (1/9), should arrive on Monday (1/13). Can't wait to start playing with it, and install those Stage 1 OTS maps.

Also have some Raceseng lightweight pulleys on the way, and just discovered I have an E85 station 2 min from my house. Now I just need to decide on some headers....

Read through most of the OFT threads, tried to get up to speed, but I just had two questions.

So OFT does not currently support Auto throttle blip on downshifts / rev matching, correct? Is this a planned future feature?

I see there are Stg2 E85 maps, but are there Stg1 E85 maps, or I need to wait until I order a catless header before I can switch to E85?

I got my oft and after figuring out that I forgot the Windows 8 patch, everything has been fantastic. 2 notes though:

1. If you plug the tablet in while running during a cold start, it pops a CEL for the cat. I am guessing it trips the check and fails because it isn't hot enough. Not an issue at all.

2. Not enough stickers. Come on man... I need at least 2 or 3... and I hate stickers usually.

You could purchase the open flash header they offer with the tablet to save some money http://www.procedetuning.com/BRZ_FR-...der/index.html

Also can you send a pic of the engine bay when you put on the Raceseng lightweight pulleys? Thinking about going this route in red

Thanks for the order! Fortunately, the OFT does not support auto blip

Many users have run the Stage 2 E85 maps on otherwise stock cars. The extra octane/cooling provided by E85 allows you to take some liberties with it. Great fuel to try if you have the opportunity (and it seems like you do!)

I will play with it, but going from not starting to starting is a big jump. I will tune with a gallon then see what it takes before moving forward. I'm totally new to this tuning game. I'm also interested in playing with the pedal settings.

I am definitely leaning toward OFH due to compatibility with OFT and the great price. Mainly just wanting to keep it stock-ish (or easily revertable) for a little longer while still under warrantee, but I'm sure I'm going to get an itch and order a header at some point before it runs out.

I ordered the black pulleys, my roommate tried to get me to order the red ones they seemed a little to 'loud' for my taste. I'll definitely post up some pics when I get them installed though. Should be here late next week, Thursday-ish, so I'll probably get them on next weekend.

Ok, I thought I head read elsewhere people were using Stg2 E85 maps without a header, but wanted to confirm. I just searched for E85 stations after seeing your dyno results and was pleasantly surprised to find one within 5 mi of my house.

I'm a little confused though, why is it "fortunate" that auto-blip is NOT supported? I would think it would be another feature to attract users to your product. Personally I will likely never use FFS, maybe rarely use LC, but I would think auto-blip is something that could be used with daily driving. Or does implementation make it not a DD friendly feature?

Yeah I don't want to over due the engine bay with red.
Im thinking they might blend in nicely with my the trd intake. Cant wait to see a pic so I have a better idea of how much they will stand out.
Thanks.

Autoblip is perhaps the most obnoxious "feature" you could possibly put into a 6MT. It encourages poor driving while taking control from the driver. Something that really has no place on the street. It was developed by marketing folks (probably at GM) who wanted to sell their cars to people who are afraid to drive manual transmissions. Fortunately, it's not becoming popular in the industry because most people don't need it and find it offensive to drive. I've been instructing and coaching drivers for last 10 years and I would rather tell someone to not learn heel-toe braking than to learn it with auto blip.

Phew... that felt good

First still seeing that rom on Friday. So we should have support for it by the end of Monday. If you haven't already, please email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com
